Salvation Through Knowledge

There is this parable I had heard long time back on two frogs. One used to live the well and the other in the sea. The frog that lived in the well was born in the well and that well was the world for him. He didn’t knew the world outside of the well. One day the frog of the sea was passing by and saw this one in the well. “What are you doing here in this small well, when there is an unlimited ocean outside.”, the frog inquired. The well frog said, you are lying, this well is so big. There cannot be anything bigger than this well !.  The sea frog suggested,”Why dont you come and join me?”. Well frog replied, “I have always been here. Moreover I am comfortable here. I don’t think there is any thing for me outside. This is where I belong”. So the sea frog after insisting leaves and the well frog continues to live in its ‘limited’ well.

The StoryTeller

Once upon a time, there were three friends – Amino, Sofia and Habitum  Out of them – Animo was quite a notorious storyteller. He was known to spice up events whenever sharing about it to the other two adding its own bits and pieces to reality. Due to this, his two friends always got a skewed picture of reality.  They somehow got trapped by his ‘spiced’ up stories believing them to be true.  When Sofia came to realise the notoriety of Amino, she then became very selective and careful on listening to him and gradually Amino stopped telling his made-up stories knowing that other two are not falling for it anymore. Let us return to these folks a little later and let us talk about us.

You are not the one you see in the mirror, but the one who is seeing behind those eyes. Do this until you feel the one who is seeing. Wow!, so wonderful the soul is, can’t be seen with these eyes but it is the reason one can see in the first place.

2018 is nearing an end, it only seems like yesterday that it had begun. Time is drifting away and how much we have experienced the timeless? How many moments in our lives we were truly alive and how many moments went away in thinking waste and negative thoughts. This life a very precious one and we can only justify its preciousness by giving the time we are here its due value. How do we choose to spend our time speaks volumes on how much we value our life.

On The Rails Of Drama

If you have traveled on a train you’ll know that how different kinds of scenes come and go during the span of our journey. I’m a Muslim, I’m a Buddhist etc. Our religion has become something we identify with. Let’s say if you tell a Christian that he isn’t really a Christian than the question that will pop up is, then ‘Who Am I’ ?. The question is, is this my correct identity? Is it true? If yes, to what extent?
